What we believe

We are part of The Apostolic Church of Great Britain, we believe:

  1. The Bible is God’s true and inspired word, which remains relevant forever. (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-21)
  2. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14)
  3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to heaven, in His personal future return to the earth in power and glory.
  4. In the second coming of Jesus Christ (1 Thess 4:17) in the resurrection of both the saved and the sinner, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting punishment. (Dan 12:2 , John 11:25-26, Rev 21:7-8)
  5. The only means of finding peace with God is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Eph 1:7)
  6. In the life changing power of the Holy Spirit, by whose presence the Christian in enabled to live a holy life. (Gal 5:16)
  7. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to all believers who will ask and receive in faith (Lk 11:13)
  8. That God still works in supernatural ways through the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 12:8-10, Heb 2:3-4)
  9. In the power of God to heal today (Is 53:4-5, Matt 8:17)
